Our Story
Inner Warmth Candles began with a simple search for the perfect candle.
Cheryl has always loved candles and was constantly searching for one that had it all, a beautiful fragrance, a clean burn, and a scent that would genuinely fill the room. But time and time again, she found herself disappointed. Many of the candles she purchased had very little scent throw, were made with poor-quality ingredients, or produced excessive soot. Eventually, rather than continuing to settle for candles that weren't quite right, Cheryl decided to find out if she could create something better herself. She began researching everything from waxes and fragrances to wicks and the art of creating the perfect candle. After plenty of experimenting, testing and refining, Cheryl finally created candles she was genuinely proud of.
And the response was immediate. Family and friends loved them. Before long, people were asking Cheryl to make candles for them, and soon orders began arriving from beyond her immediate circle.
That’s how Inner Warmth Candles was born.
What started as a passion for creating a beautiful candle quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Inner Warmth Candles was never created simply as a way to make money or as a second income. It began with a genuine desire to create a beautiful product — one that Cheryl herself would be proud to have in her own home.
Koda P Bear Giftware – Bringing Ideas to Life
As Inner Warmth Candles continued to grow, another creative side of our business began to take shape.
Koda P Bear Giftware is our personalised giftware and sublimation printing division, proudly created and managed by Cheryl’s husband, Glenn. The name is a special tribute to our much-loved dogs, Koda, Pepe and Bear, who have always been an important part of our family and continue to inspire the heart behind our business. While Cheryl focuses her creativity and attention to detail on creating beautiful handmade candles, Glenn specialises in producing high-quality personalised and custom sublimation products.
Sublimation is a unique and specialised printing process that creates vibrant, long-lasting designs. Rather than simply printing ink onto the surface of a product, sublimation uses a combination of specialised inks, high heat and pressure to transform the ink into a gas. The ink then permanently bonds with a specially coated surface. As the product cools, the design becomes part of the coating itself. This means the finished image isn't simply sitting on top of the product — it is infused into it. The result is a vibrant, detailed and durable design that won't easily peel, crack or fade like many traditional printing methods.
Through Koda P Bear Giftware, Glenn creates a growing range of personalised and custom-made products, including mugs, drinkware, metal plates and other specially coated giftware products. From meaningful personalised gifts and treasured keepsakes to fun designs that bring personality into your home, every product is created with the same care, attention to detail and commitment to quality that has become the foundation of our business.
